I WANT TO LIVE FOR JESUS
When I am sad or lonely
and don't know what to do
I go to Christ my Savior
He always sees me through
He gives me strength and comfort
And brightens up my way
And that is why I love Him
and walk with him each day.
I know He'll always guide me
Along life's rugged way
I know that he is leading
Unto a brighter day
I know he really loves me
And that is why I sing
Glory, laud and honor
Unto my heavenly King.
I once was lost in darkness
I had no peace within
Then I met the savior
He washed away my sin
He took away my burden
And made my eyes to see
And through His blood I'm saved today
He gave me victory.
Let's give our hearts to Jesus
And serve Him every day
Let's give our very best to Him
Along this pilgrim way
If we will live for Him each day
And praise Him o'er and o'er
We'll be with Him forever
On Heaven's golden shore.
I want to live for Jesus
He gave His life for me
He shed his precious blood upon
The cross of Calvary
I want to do His will each day
And some day I shall be
With my Lord in glory
Through all eternity.
