Nothing Here
As down the paths of sin I trod
So very far away from God
No hope, no peace, no joy or love
Then I heard a voice from above
It said, " fear not. for it is I
The one who came to earth to die
I rose again to set men free
Turn back, my child, come unto me."
And as I came to him that day
He washed my every sin away
He said, "just put your trust in me
I'll give you life eternally."
And now that he has made me whole
He gave sweet peace unto my soul
And since His blood had set me free
I want nothing to hinder me.
Nothing to hinder, come what may
And when I see Him on that day
I'll be so glad He rescued me
And gave me life eternally.
