MY SAVIOR
He left His home in glory,
This wondrous friend of mine;
T'was Jesus Christ my Savior,
So loving and so kind.
He suffered stripes upon his back,
To heal and make me whole,
He shed His blood on Calvary
To cleanse my sinful soul.
In the twinkling of an eye
He brought me victory,
O'er the hold that Satan had,
Praise God, I've been set free.
I've been set free from bondage,
By one who's so divine;
and that is why I love Him so,
This Jesus, friend of mine.
I will live my life for Him,
And when my race is run,
I shall hear my Savior say,
"Welcome, my child, well done!"
If you want the blessing
That only God can give,
Just give yourself to Jesus,
And daily for Him live.
If you'll live for Him today,
Tomorrow you shall be,
With Him through countless ages,
Throughout eternity.
