Church On a Hillside

There's a little country Church on a hillside
That still lives in my memory today
Where we learned of our blessed redeemer
And sang in the old fashioned way.

We heard how our blessed Lord came from glory
And how He bore the cross of Calvary
And we heard how He shed His precious blood
In love to rescue you and me.

At that little country Church on a hillside
We would gather to hear about our Lord
We would sing the old song, Rock Of Ages
As we worshiped in one accord.

Cho:
Then we'd all kneel down to pray
Jesus washed our sins away
We would all begin to shout
As the blessings were poured out
At that little country Church on the hillside.

I was glad when they said unto me. Let us go into the house of the Lord. (psalm 122:1)
